Doctors at the Vision Health Institute serve as leaders in the American and Florida Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry and are published in clinical journals. Involved in healthcare industry advancement, Dr. Mark Perry is a Principal Investigator for FDA clinical research with several contact lens companies and a Vision Source Administrator. He is an adjunct Preceptor for Western University College of Optometry as well as Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry. Newsweek magazine selected Dr. Mark Perry as number 16 in “America’s Best Eye Doctors 2021” of the top 150 optometrists in the country and number 19 in 2022.

Dr. Karen Perry, an honors graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and an American Academy of Optometry Fellow, is Director of Professional Relations for a Healthcare IT Company. She is distinguished among the Most Influential Women in Optometry, recognized as one of the “Women of The Year 2021” in Orlando magazine, and a member of the Optical Women’s Association and the Optometric Glaucoma Society. Dr. Vince Piccione graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida and received his Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Piccione completed an internship program at the Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, where he trained extensively in ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye dysfunction.
